Respite, Day Care and Short Stay Programs at Oceanview Retirement

Primary care givers for aged parents, spouses or other family members are at risk of higher rates of illness, exhaustion and isolation if community supports are not there for them for any reason. At Oceanview, we can give your loved one a welcoming and secure temporary home away from home. This can free up the primary care giver to have a rest, or catch up on other parts of life that have had to be put aside. For a day, several days, a week. We can give you a number of options, so please call.

In-Home Care and Attention- Your Home, not Our Home!

We have trained staff that can help you or your family member stay at home by providing services such as meal preparation, laundry, home cleaning and more. Please call us to discuss your options for care in your home.

Our Location

We are in close proximity to the Town of Chemainus, a lovely village of murals and shops that is world renowned. Duncan is a short drive down the highway. The "City of Totems" is the heart of the Cowichan Valley, with major recreational, health, banking and legal services available. Ladysmith, a heritage town with its beautiful harbour and beach park is to the north of us, as is Nanaimo, a shopping destination and location of the closest ferry terminal that takes passengers to the mainland.
