Fees for Service

There are several levels of fees, depending on the level of service required. Every person has different needs and requirements. Often there are budget constraints to be taken into consideration. It is important that you discuss this with us so that we may tailor the services to suit you or your loved one. The following prices are guidelines rather than rules.

Independent Living

Our monthly fee per person for independent living which is room and board only starts at $1,850.00 per month and includes the following;

• beautiful bedroom with private bath
• cable service, phone jacks in room
• outstanding activity program
• community gardens located on site
• breakfast, lunch and dinner in our beautiful dining room featuring beautifully prepared fresh vegetables from our garden
• weekly personal laundry and bed linens

Full Residential Living

In keeping with The Oceanview's reputation for providing fine service and thoughtful amenities,we at the Oceanview retirement home, pride ourselves on catering to your life-style.

Our monthly fee per person for dependent living starts at $3,000.00 per month and is determined thereafter by individual needs. A *non-refundable $1,000.00 deposit is required which will be applied to the first months fee. This monthly rental fee includes the following services:

• beautifully furnished bedroom with private bath
• personalized attention
• outstanding activity program
• three individualized meals, high tea, nourishing snacks and beverages served between meals
• all personal laundry washed and ironed daily
• bed linens are changed daily if required, otherwise washed and ironed weekly
• cable and phone lines in each room
• an occasional restaurant meal if the resident would enjoy it
• and of course a nightly turndown service

For an additional fee our concierge will arrange shopping trips to Victoria, a visit to Buchart Gardens, wine tasting at our local wineries, art and culinary classes, where ever you desire to go or see. Added charges also include but are not limited to; monthly on site foot nurse, hair dresser and transportation to medical appointments.

The monthly fee for two people sharing the same room starts at $4,250.00 or $5,000.00 for separate rooms. The *non-refundable deposit of $1,500.00 is required.

Respite, Short Stay and Day Program Fees

Our Respite program is designed for a short-term stay. Whether it is for an overnight visit or a three week stay, the same meticulous attention to detail is given to these residents as we give our permanent guests.

The charge for the Day Program starts at $ 19.50 per hour and is determined thereafter by individual needs.

The charge for the Respite Program starts at $95.00 per day and is also determined thereafter by individual needs.

All prices are subject to change at discretion of management.

*The deposit can be refunded if a change in medical condition is noted by a physican.
